Joe Light joined MONEY in July of 2007 as a reporter covering the investing, the Internet, and technology. He previously covered real estate for the Florida Times-Union in Jacksonville.

Light's work has appeared in the Boston Globe, SmartMoney, the Daily Press (Newport News, Va.) and The Hill.

Light graduated with a B.A. in History from Yale. There, he served as editor-in-chief of The Yale Herald.
