Lee Clifford edits features and the Life at the Top section at FORTUNE. She also edits annual franchises such as the 100 Best Companies to Work For, the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business, and the Best Business Hotels.

She joined FORTUNE in May 2000 as a writer-reporter covering investing and retail. From 2002-2005 she edited the First section. In 2003 and 2004 she was named to TJFR's "30 Under 30" list of top business journalists under the age of 30.

Prior to joining FORTUNE, Clifford was a staff reporter at SmartMoney magazine.

She has a B.A. in history from Columbia.
